Special Olympics Delaware: Spread the Word at the Plunge

SODE Project UNIFY students "Spread the Word to End the R-word" at the 2011 Polar Bear Plunge in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware! Students from high schools raised awareness about the campaign to "Pledge Respect' for thousands of Polar Bears, family members and spectators who attended the Plunge. High Schools students from across the state came to the Boardwalk to educate the community about the campaign, signed up as Polar Bears, and plunged in the Atlantic Ocean with DE Governor Jack Markell.
