Forunately, I have been blessed with a brother who has Down's syndrome. I have never uttered the r-word in my life. To me, this word has one meaning--and it's both derogatory and disrespectful no matter how you "use" it. I pledge, will you? :)

my brother has cerebral palsy an been through a lot and we are happy of how he is progressing it hurts or family of how people when people say that it hurts not only you but many others like people with disabilities
